MOTORFEST is a one day event of Rocket Motor Testing to provide characterization of propellants and confirmation of Flight Motor designs. It is a Tripoli Sanctioned Event open to any and all Tripoli Members holding a Level 2 Certification or higher. Participants must be pre-registered and present their Tripoli Membership card at site sign-in.

Registered and qualifying participants will have their propellants characterized with documentation, or have their Flight Motor design confirmed. Flight Motors will only have Thrust readings while Test Case Motors will have both Thrust and Pressure readings recorded.

Propellant Characterization is limited to a 54mm configuration approximately that of a J Class motor. Thrust and chamber pressure will be recorded for characterization. Any class motor up to and including a K Class can be presented as a flight motor and fired for design confirmation with only a thrust curve captured.

PRESENTATIONS Saturday, July 7th, Two 'short' Presentations will be presented by Tripoli Member Dave Cooper, creator of TCLOGGER and programmer for RASAERO and PROPEP 3. The Presentations will be held at 7pm in the Meeting Room of the Host Hotel.  Dave will present: TC Logger operation and processing and  PROPEP 3, History, operation and working with results. Dave will be open to questions and hopefully we'll have a good discussion.
